Sometimes it’s a matter of time, especially if the cat started off life as a feral. Obviously this cat realizes it has a safe home with food and shelter. We have an almost 13 year old cat who was born a feral but you would never know it because he is extremely friendly although very shy if someone else is in the house.
You’re right, Carol. I’m on my second former-feral now, and he warmed up to me and my son quickly but when someone else comes to the door, he’s outta there!
