When God Closes One Door…

Standard

You have to let go of “It’s always going to be this hard,”
and
“I never get what I want.”

It’s like you’ve already shut the door on maybe.

Never and always are the two poles of failure.

You wonder why good things don’t reach you.

Could be the moat, drawbridge and electric fence around your heart.

Isolation leads to depression.

Be in the world (but not of it.)

Be an optimist (cockeyed or otherwise.)

Be yourself (but be open to new ideas.)

This day alone is the gift. Open it.

  1. I really love this and the picture is arresting! I have SO many door pictures. We could have been side-by-side taking this shot because I wouldn’t have passed it up, either!

  2. Isn’t it a story-telling door, Heidi? So much more character than the new-fangled doors out there. I almost wish I could open the door and walk in – just to see what tales are being told on the other side.

    Blessings to you!

    Ruth
